Goodbye, ABC Soaps Watch

Monday, June 11th, 2007

I would like to take this opportunity to say goodbye to all the loyal readers and commenters of ABC Soaps Watch. Due to personal reasons I am stepping down as a writer of ABC Soaps Watch. I hope whomever takes over would take care of this blog as well I have.

Thanks to 451 Press for giving me this blog and the opportunity to blog in their network.

I’m not going to stop watching my soaps and I would surely check this blog often to still put my two cents in through comments. Hope to still “see” you all around.

0606-071.jpgOnly Carly Corinthos or shall I say Laura Wright can get away with this backless top. She looked great. The yellow too-sexy top complimented her complexion and her firey personality. Anyhooo, back to why she’s visiting Jason at PCPD, again, hah. She wasn’t only there to remind him he was arrested for murder, not just some misdeameanor where Sonny could get him out so easily. She also asked if he and Sonny had something to do with Jerry’s disappearance. His hotel room is messed up. His glass window was turned into a million pieces. Ah who cares. I hope he’s lying in his own blood. Jax is blind when it comes to how evil his brother is. Even their mother has warned him about Jerry.

Meanwhile, Robin is feeling guilty about Jason’s new predicament. For some reason, she blames herself for what he turned out to be. Maybe if she was adamant enough about making him pick something else other than a gun to kill for Sonny, maybe he wouldn’t always be arrested for murder. Oh Pox. Jason is a grown man. Obviously he likes this lifestyle. You can’t make someone be someone else. They have to do it themselves.

Laura’s future is in Scotty’s filthy ahnds. We all know Luke is not about to let thar happen. Alexis’s plan with the appeal might as well go out the window coz Luke has plans, for sure :)

Cady McClain’s “New” Soap Gig

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007

cady.jpgI wish this news says, “Dixie is back”. But no :( . We all know that before Cady reprised her role as Dixie, she was Rosanna in ATWT. Well it’s official, she is going back to ATWT as she herself stated in her blog :

Yes, it is true.
I am returning to ATWT to play Rosanna Cabot, who will arise from her coma in Switzerland to what deeds we can only imagine! Who is she now?! What did she dream?! How is her hair?!
I am very pleased to be returning, and I hope to have a lot of fun.
The “Dixie Lives scribble on Janet’s notepad was the first I have heard of anything, but maybe she switched bodies while ghosting around the netherworld and is now somehow inhabiting Rosanna Cabot’s small but mighty frame?
Well, you know how it goes in soapland. Drama, drama, drama.

I’m happy that she’s back in daytine TV again but I wish it was in AMC. Oh well, I’ll just have to catch her on ATWT again, like the last time she was there.

All My Children : Monday

Greenlee once again tested Kendall’s loyalty. Kendall said anything to get back what they used to have. Well, she didn’t expect her sister-BFF to ask her to leave her obnoxious husband. Kendall was pissed off pretty much. She think Greenlee is hateful. Eh, with good reasons. Because of Zach’s god-like attitude Greenlee would never have children. He ruined pretty much every chance she’s got. Kendall was just too happy to point out that Greenlee will never be able to carry a child. Isn’t that surprising. Well, if Zach didn’t cause the blackout, Greens could use her eggs for a surrogate. Isn’t it amazing how Zach is proud of the fact? While Annie asks questions, Zach just matter of factly told her, “oh me me, I caused the blackout”. Wow. Unremorseful son of a gun. All for the love of Kendall, puhleaazzze.

Annie is taking Greenlee’s side. THANK YOU. She’s right. Zach needs to go to jail. It wasn’t jsut Greenlee’s eggs he ruined. It was other’s too. And all their hopes and dreams of having children. I’m surprised the PV town didn’t do anything about it. Zach should be rotting in jail besides his father. He’s just like him, hah. Ironic. Annie couldn’t stand the sight of Kendall and Zach and screamed for help. Ryan assured her that Zach will never hurt her. Of course not, he’s has no use for her, yet.

Greenlee got home and Josh asked her how much damaged she’s done. She replied, “infinity”. She feels really lost. Josh adviced her to chose who she wants to be, the lons one or the confident one. Ah, pox. We all know Zach will never pay for his crimes. Kendall will always be a hypocrite so it makes me mad all over again…LOL.

Colby told Sean she’s over him. He tried to explain but to no avail. It was funny how her pain is slightly connected to the pain Krystal and Babe inflicted on their husbands. But Colby forgave them. Not Sean though.

JR on the otherhand has informed Adam he’s turning into a Martin. At least Tad would never turn his back on him no matter how much he’s disappointed him. So true. JR has a point there. This probably just fueled Adam’s hatred towards the Martin. Ayayay.

Weekly Previews : General Hospital : June 4-8

While Sam is away at a location shoot, her boss Amelia is getting hot and heavy again with Sonny. While they’re together, Sonny discovers Amelia’s file on Sam. She spills all she knows to Sonny about Sam’s past and claims she had the same gold-digging plans for Sonny, Jax, and Jason. Sonny decides to warn Jason, but Jason refuses to believe that Sam only wanted him for his money. Liz, meanwhile, goes to visit Jason in prison which infuriates Lucky. Luke and Lulu reel over the blow of Scott being awarded legal guardianship of Laura.

The power of sex. Sonny is getting a lot of them from Amelia so now he’s believe her over Sam. Puhlleeaazze. Since when did his brain turned to mush. Couldn’t he see Amelia’s agenda on everything? Couldn’t Sonny see that Sam was a battered wife, by Amelia’s father? Warning Jason of Sam’s intension. C’mon. Hasn’t Sam proven her love and loyalty to Jason? The girl was shot in the head, and because of that she can’t have a baby. Yet where is she? Still fighting for Jason.

Sonny, get your brain out of the gutter and think with your pants on.

Scotty was awarded custody? Talk about justice in Port Charles. No wonder they can’t put Sonny and Jason away. It’s all muddled with stupidity. I mean Ric had to record a bogus evidence that Mac is eating up like a hot cake. Well I guess it’s time for Luke to kidnap Laura and go off on a vacation again :) .

Weekly Previews : One Life To Live : June 4-8

Sunday, June 3rd, 2007

As Jessica’s health continues to decline, Antonio and Nash arrive at the last minute. Meanwhile, the police receive a threat about a white woman being made impure and realize that it’s a threat against the hospital because of Jess’ surgery. They sweep the hospital and find a bomb which they diffuse. What they don’t realize is that there’s another bomb in the vent right above the Operating Room! The bomb goes off and all of Antonio’s doctors are injured. Now, the only person who has access to him is Nash…

This is just too many twists in one week. They can’t decide how to end the stupid arsonist story so now TPTB thought a bomb would be an option. For crying out loud. Thank goodness bon bons are banned in my house or I woul’ve eaten a whole box after reading this.

It’s not easy being Green — lee! Her best friend is married to the guy who pulled the plug on her chance to have her own child. Now, she wants back what’s rightfully hers — Kendall’s baby Spike! Greenlee tries to get Erica to expose Zach on New Beginnings, but Erica refuses. Then, she meets with attorneys about suing Zach for causing the blackout and the domino effect that resulted from it, but they tell her the case is impossible with no proof. Left with no other options, Greenlee serves Kendall and Ryan with papers, suing them for custody of Spike.

Of course there is no proof. Zach probably got rid of them all. I don’t know about this suing for custody of Spike. People are just going to keep hating Greenlee if she pursues this, but hey, it makes for great storyline.

All My Children : Thursday

Friday, June 1st, 2007

There’s only one thing I could say about yesterday’s episode without going all medieval on all the attendees at Spike’s birthday party. HYPOCRITES.

You know what, they’re all acting that way coz they’re all guilty. They know what they did but they’re too self-righteous and selfish that it scares the hell out of them to realize they are those 2 things. Starting with Ryan, Kendall and Zach. Erica?? puhleaazzee, everything to her is a competition. No wonder she can’t keep a husband. Geez, 10 divorces? Seriously, it’s her, not the Men she married and divorced.

Julia is not feeling good lately. A way to get her into the hospital bed while Sydney Penny goes off for her maternity leave. Don’t you think? They’re trying to be clever, but we know better :)

Sonny questioning Spennili about what breaks Jason’s heart was hilarious. The “Godfather” tried to get him drunk. Of course, being inebreiated made Spennili even more colorful with words. I think he’s probalby the luckiest actor in daytime right now. Being able to work with veterans like Anthony Geary and Maurice Bernanrd must such a joy at the workplace. For a newcomer nonetheless. Saved by the bell though, or shall I say, Jason barging in, just in the nick of time. Of course “The Stonecold” lied again. What breaks his heart is Sam’s desire to have her own baby..blah blah blah.

Speaking of Sam, her fight with Jason was so telling. She realized he’s selfish by not even considering to have a surrogate in order for them to have a baby. Not even adoption which doesn’t make sense coz he was willing to go through it when Michael was born. Sam walked out of the Penhouse and whined at Amelia. The latter was letting her know what any sane person feels about her relationship with Jason which is kinda confusing coz we all know she wants Sam to suffer. But maybe it’s her tactic to get her away from Jason that way when she finally gets her revenge, Sam has no one to turn to. Hmmm…

But of course, in the end, Sam realized she loves Jason and she’s not about to let a fight get in between them.

Lulu shows the depth of a young woman who has been through a lot. She may be mature and smart but she’s still vulnerable. Luke told her the circumstances of how the rape happened. She’s questioning why and how her mother forgave Luke. I’m so glad Carly reached out to her. I think these 2 cousins have been good for each other. Elizabeth in turn has told her own rape when she was 15. I’m waiting for Emily to share her story as well. Her rapist was Nikolas’s lookalike. If I was Lulu, I’d go find Scotty to scratch his eyes out.

I loved how Spennili left in a huff as soon as Jason said Lulu was looking for him and that she’s upset about something. I also loved the tender moment between Sonny and Carly. Finally, they could actually co-exist in the same room without yelling at each other. I want them to do something else but she’s married now so she’s can’t do that anymore…LOL.
