ALL MY CHILDREN: Richie finds the hole Zach and Greenlee fell in, which leads them to believe they’re going to be rescued. Wanting to make sure Zach can never blame him for the hit and run, Richie covers the hole with a metal plate. J.R. shocks Adam when he confesses to Derek that he suffered a drunken blackout the night Zach went missing and has no idea what happened. Tad visits J.R. in jail and is proud he took responsibility for his actions. Amanda’s heart breaks when she visits an institutionalized Janet, whose new medication causes memory loss. Erica is hit hard when Jack tells her he no longer loves her and walks out. Babe gets word that Richie is in the hospital suffering from pneumonia, and she and Annie rush there. Babe urges Annie to make peace with Richie, as he may not survive. Richie makes a deathbed confession to Annie and admits to all his crimes. He gets Annie to retrieve a vial of something that could kill him and asks her to put him out of his misery.
SNEAK PEEK: Ryan is on to Richie.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE: Clint makes it clear to Dorian that he simply can’t forgive and forget her transgression with David, and he ends their relationship. Alex claims she’s divorcing David because he slept with Dorian. David is crestfallen when Alex claims that she’s flat broke, so their prenup is meaningless. Alex drives off and is unaware that she accidentally hit Dorian, who lies unconscious in the bushes. Jared decides he is going to pose as Asa’s son and argues for Nigel to back up his claim. John makes a valuable discovery in Patrick’s book of poetry, as he and Ramsey head to Ireland. Marty realizes that Patrick’s best friend, Simon, is behind her and Cole’s kidnapping. Simon demands that Marty turn over the list of names he knows Patrick left her, but she insists she knows nothing about it. John and Ramsey set out to rescue Marty and Cole. Cristian and Sarah kiss. Marcie wonders what she’ll do when her money is gone — and she fears her luck may have run out.
SNEAK PEEK: Blair admits her love to Todd.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Despite Monica’s edict that he stay away, Carly talks Jason into attending Emily’s funeral. In order to respect Monica’s wishes, Jason stays in the back of the church. As she gives a eulogy to Emily, Elizabeth sees Jason. After the service, Jason and Elizabeth collapse into each other’s arms. Lucky tells Elizabeth he will never forgive her. Jason feels out of place when he sees Lucky with Jake and Cameron. Nikolas is stunned to discover that not only can he see Emily, he can touch her. Emily becomes sad upon realizing she’s really dead. Nikolas thinks he’s insane but doesn’t care as long as it means he gets to be with Emily. The mystery strangler sets out to claim another victim. Carly wants to have Jax’s child. Zacchara survives the fall but is rendered paralyzed from the neck down. Monica informs Luke that he’ll surely die if he doesn’t have bypass surgery. Monica blames Sonny for destroying her family and taking her children away from her.

ALL MY CHILDREN: Kendall is alarmed when she and Erica discover Zach’s car abandoned by the side of the road and notice traces of blood. Greenlee and a badly injured Zach try to find help. Drawing on his own dark past, Jonathan tells Ryan he understands Richie’s point of view on life. Jonathan warns Ryan that Richie won’t stop until he’s destroyed Ryan and Annie. Ryan demands that Richie get away from Annie when he returns home and finds them together. J.R. opens up to Ava about his battle with alcohol. J.R. is shocked when he finds the passenger seat of his car covered in blood and can’t remember the events of the previous night. Babe and Richie grow closer and share a kiss. Richie wonders what Annie is really up to. Colby tries to broker a truce between Tad and Adam so they can all spend Thanksgiving together. Everyone tries to remain peaceful, as the Martin and Chandler families and friends gather at the Comeback for Thanksgiving. Krystal isn’t pleased to realize Babe’s feelings for Richie are growing. Erica is proud to welcome Celine Dion to New Beginnings.

I am so overjoyed that Jonathan reveals that he knows how it feels to be Richie.  Many people have not realized that he is dying inside and the only way for him to survive is to do these horrible, bad things.  This situation could not have gotten worse for J.R., he’s gonna need a miracle to come back from this setback.  I am sure that when everything is said and done that Richie will be proven culprit but that will be hard to prove.  I am glad that the Martins and Chandlers will sit down to have Thanksgiving dinner together-  they are joined in so many ways that they need to be civil to each other at least once a year. I wonder if Babe truly is falling in love with Richie or maybe she is trying to find out his true intentions? I wonder, she could be a very sneaky girl, don’t underestimate her. Celine Dion is guest starring on AMC, probably plugging her new tour/single/album/etc.- but anyway it will prove to be a fun appearance.

So Greenlee and Aidan put their escape plan in motion today, I don’t think they fully thought through the full consequences of running off like cowards.  In my opinion, I think she should have stayed and fought the charges because sooner or later, Zach or Ryan would have realized that Kendall was at fault. I really liked how Julia was trying to convince Greenlee and Aidan that a life on the run is not pleasant and that it is hell.  I like how the writers have remembered that Julia was on the run for nearly ten years before she came back as a nurse.  I have to note how funny Greenlee looked in her biker disguise, she wouldn’t have fooled me.

Ryan was torn over his actions, whether what he did was right or wrong and I think he was justified.  Although I thought Greenlee should fight these outrageous charges, the Kane name means a lot in Pine Valley and it would just be an endless fight on her end.  She has some support but due to recent circumstances, she is not trustworthy to anyone.  I really enjoyed Ryan and Annie’s family scenes today when they were with Emma and Kathy- now that is a cute family.

J.R. admits to Amanda about his fall off the wagon and his deception where it concerns Babe.  If I was her, I would not have done that, that gives him more incentive to drink- he is falling and he is falling fast.  This is a very compelling story and one that has not been told in Pine Valley for a while.  The last time I remember a story around alcoholism was Arlene Vaughn, oh wait, no no no- I completely forgot about Erica a few years ago.  She had fallen off the wagon after her father’s death and she had that intervention in Las Vegas- those were some very powerful scenes at the time.

ALL MY CHILDREN: Jack rebuffs Erica when she tries to reach out to him. A disguised Aidan and Greenlee say goodbye to Pine Valley. Hannah bares her soul to Tad, as she confesses how Adam is blackmailing her with the knowledge that she was Alexander Cambias’ mistress. Ryan gets a call from Tom Brennan, a man who claims to have seen Richie kill a boy when they were younger. Zach is missing. Jonathan alerts Ryan to the fact that someone has hacked into his corporate e-mail. Ryan is certain that Richie is responsible. Ryan and Jonathan take off in pursuit of Richie, who is frantic to get to Tom Brennan. Tragedy befalls Zach, as a nervous Kendall waits for him to come home. Babe confronts Annie and Ryan for what they’re doing to Richie. Greenlee and Aidan make love at the safe house, and she tells him that she loves him. Greenlee is forced to flee alone when Aidan realizes the cops are on the way. Derek arrests Jack and Aidan. Unable to silence her conscience, Greenlee comes to Zach’s aid when she finds him in distress.

SNEAK PEEK: Greenlee saves Zach.

Not too much variety of storyline this week, with Greenlee and Richie being front and center like always. Aidan goes through with his plan to flee with Greenlee but then of course there has to be a wrench thrown in their plans. Maybe the two of them were really meant to be for each other, maybe there could be a fan following for this very hot couple. I am very intrigued at how Greenlee will save Zach’s life- like they would ever get rid of Thorsten Kaye. Maybe this will redeem Greenlee somewhat, maybe Kendall will be a little more soft on Greenlee because of her courageous acts. Then, the other story being heavily featured is the Richie saga, he tries to silence a witness to him murdering some boy in the boy scouts. I have a gut feeling that they will try to make both stories cross paths, one will have a pivotal role in another- now that is so All My Children.

I really do hope that these writers can have some sort of turn around before this writer’s strike really affects ABC soaps and soaps in general. From what I hear, AMC has scripts to last well into the new year estimated around January and maybe into February. Once the strike ends, there could be no more ratings as we know it and therefore it would absolutely kill the industry of daytime television. All I know is that for the time being, the show is decent and deserves more credit for better storytelling.

Greenlee sure doesn’t know what she is walking into- she is on the path to either jail or the looney bin. Just when I thought Kendall was to have this plan backfire- I am surprised that our little fighter, Greenlee, is not trying to fight these charges. She clearly has support in her father and lover but she is too proud to accept their help. She knows that when she is up against a Kane that the chances of success are not good- so maybe that’s why she calmed down. Now only if the rest of Pine Valley can learn to forgive for past mistakes- Greenlee has learned her lesson through hatred and taking it to legal highs is just ridiculous. Although I do not like that she is being very stubborn in her efforts to face the music, I am proud that she is finally maturing and accepting that the current circumstances of her relationships with her loved ones are strained and it was because of her near-fatal mistake.

Erica is truly getting on my nerves- its not enough that Kendall is trying to take care of Greenlee, Erica does too. Erica should not fight her children’s battles and I think it should be time that Erica act more mature and forget about revenge. She has lived a lifetime in which revenge has come up several times and has she taken the better road; No she has not and she continues to be this way well into her older years. It was quite nice to see her good friend, Opal, today- that woman is so talented, she should be on more. Opal was once one of the sources of humor on this dramatic soap and I would love to see her back full-time again soon.

ALL MY CHILDREN: The doctor reveals to Ryan and Annie that Richie’s blood tested positive for leukemia and his condition is terminal. Lily is falling for Richie. Adam drops the charade of pretending to be Stuart and bares his soul to Krystal, saying he wants to be a family again with her and Jenny. Krystal fears trusting Adam and makes it clear she would always put her baby first. Tad’s blood boils when he sees Krystal in Adam’s arms. Tad forbids Krystal from ever taking Jenny anywhere near Adam and vows the child will never live at the mansion. Hannah tells Tad he must try to understand all the mistakes he has made. J.R. falls off the wagon after being rejected by Babe. Greenlee decides to plead guilty to Kendall’s trumped-up kidnapping charges. Aidan arrives at the court and plans to abduct Greenlee. Jack warns Erica he will make Kendall’s life miserable if he learns she framed Greenlee.

So this week we find out that Richie is in fact dying and the cherry on top of that surprise is that Lily is falling for Richie. I am sure that this relationship will get the same backlash as the Jonathan/Lilly pairing and thus will fail. Adam finally drops the whole Stuart scheme and comes clean to Krystal, now that is what this storyline was missing- honesty! I am so invested into their union and I hope Tad does not ruin what could be one of the most successful couples in Pine Valley history.

J.R. finally falls off the wagon this week, it was just a matter of time-with all the problems he has, I’m surprised it took this long. Babe will, now and forever, be J.R.’s biggest weakness and without her in his life, he’s nothing. I’m quite certain that this could be one of the final nails in the coffin for Erica and Jack- damn why can’t this couple be happy together. I wonder what TPTB have in store for this Greenlee storyline- there are so many endless possibilities. I am quite shocked that with this wealth of storyline potential that AMC is at the bottom of the barrel, ratings-wise. They should be towards the top tier and I guarantee that by the spring, AMC will be among the top soaps on television.

So today was interesting with Greenlee turning down J.R.’s offer for her shares in Fusion for the remaining embryos- now that took a lot for her to do that. The one thing she has been craving since returning is a child of her own and preferably fathered by Ryan and she gave up that opportunity. I am beginning to really like Greenlee- she is no longer the devil in a blue dress in Pine Valley, she is becoming a respectable citizen. Though I know for sure she can never be fully forgiven, she is surely on her way to redemption in some sort of way.

With that rejection, J.R. lost the backing for his new network and I can’t say that I am sad for him. He schemed to ruin lives and he gets bit on the ass- it’s the cycle of life, what goes around comes around. If he feels cheated by Zach, there is no justification for that because Zach was doing him a favor, oh lets mention the fact that you attempted to murder his wife and her unborn child. J.R. is such a sad despicable character that I can hardly feel compassion for his loss.

Not even phantom Simone can convince Kendall to give up her damn revenge plot- this is a very persistent woman! You would think that a visit from beyond the grave would convince anyone to change their plans but in Mrs. Slater’s case, she needs a little more convincing. There are some things in life that we consider sacred and special such as family and I would do anything to protect my family; but when you risk happiness for revenge it is not worth it. Revenge always has a negative side effect and I hope soon, and I mean soon that Kendall will realize that.

It appears that Ryan’s special doctor will administer tests on good ol’ boy Richie to determine if he really is dying. My gut says no and I tend to trust that most of all- I think Rich is one crazy guy. He hinges on the past when he should focus on the future- that many years in the clink could do some damage on the brain. Hopefully this mess of a storyline can be wrapped up soon, for the sake of good drama because the dramatic effect of this storyline is gently disappearing on-screen.

ALL MY CHILDREN: Erica wants to rid Greenlee from Kendall’s life and asks for Adam’s help in getting her committed to a mental institution. Zach finds Kendall waiting for Greenlee in the park with a gun. Kendall admits to Zach that she wants Greenlee to pay for what she did, but she is ashamed at how far she’s taken things. Kendall appears to have abandoned her vendetta against Greenlee. Richie denies to Annie that he’s dying of leukemia. Ryan forces Richie onto a private jet to find out once and for all if Richie is really terminally ill. With Annie looking on, Ryan instructs the doctor he hired to draw a sample of Richie’s blood. Greenlee confronts J.R., who implies he knows where Zach has stashed her frozen embryos. J.R. infuriates Greenlee when he offers to hand over the embryos in exchange for all her shares in Fusion and gives her 24 hours to decide. Ryan supports Jonathan’s decision to marry Ava and wants his brother to be happy. Krystal tries to come to grips with her feelings after realizing that Tad spent the night with Hannah.

SNEAK PEEK: Richie is dying.

It is looking more and more like Greenlee is about to be gaslighted by JR and Zach-especially with the spoiler that Janet will make appearances this winter, it is inevitable. It think it will be fun seeing Janet and Greenlee roaming the halls of Oak Haven Sanitarium- now she’ll show Greenlee what crazy is all about. At first I thought Kendall was the one to go crazy but with these preview, I am convinced it is Greenlee. Richie is actually dying, whoa that threw me for a loop- so it seems he won’t be on much longer. So who does Krystal really love, I think the answer to that question is Adam and she only has those feelings for Tad because she knows that he’s Jenny’s father. It’s looking to be a wacky week in Pine Valley this week, I cannot wait!

ALL MY CHILDREN: Greenlee doesn’t let on to Zach that she suspects he might not have destroyed her fertilized eggs. Josh tells Zach he can no longer be a participant in his plan to destroy Greenlee because he won’t repeat the sins of his father. Ryan rescues his family, and they rush Emma to the hospital, where Joe and Julia determine that Emma wasn’t poisoned. Greenlee dreams of a future with Aidan, Ryan, Annie, Kendall, Zach, the kids and herself as one big, happy family. Krystal is horrified when she wakes up in Adam’s bed. Adam assumes their having made love means they’re back together, but she sets him straight, saying her first priority is and always will be her children. Erica drops in on Kendall and realizes her daughter hasn’t given up her vendetta against Greenlee. Tad and Hannah flirt. Erica admits to Jack she wishes Greenlee would just leave Pine Valley. Erica turns to the master of underhandedness, Adam, for advice. Babe is torn about whether to believe Richie or Annie. Annie is disbelieving when Babe drops a bombshell on her about Richie.

How gut-wrenching was it today, when Greenlee had to describe in detail the accident that could have ended Spike’s life. What really got me was when she told Kendall the last words that Spike had ever heard- that’s what tugged at my heartstrings. I wonder what the writers are hoping to accomplish with this whole repair of their relationship, why not just let them keep hating each other forever. Their friendship, in the first place, had no depth- they were rivals for men and in business and I’m sure that doesn’t make them buddies. I have to say that I would hate for them to be friends in the end of all this heartache because if I were Kendall, I would never feel any pity for Greenlee for as long as I lived. And towards the end of the episode, Greenlee said a comment like having another baby will repair the wounds that she caused; yeah right Greenlee babies don’t grow on trees- and why oh why do you think that will be the solution to this problem.

I also wonder how Krystal could find Adam to be soulless, when she has the best case to be without a soul. She lies, cheats and stole a baby and that doesn’t warrant being a gutter wench, soulless bitch- she has to be the biggest hypocrite in Pine Valley. He may have made some rash decisions in time of need, but that was because of emotional hurt. She made it on alright after it- maybe it was time she felt what it was like to lose her child for that short time. You know what they say about karma that it comes back to get you when you least expect it, and it certainly did to Krystal.

How many brain cells does Babe have left- she was thinking about burning a Mickey Mantle baseball card that is probably worth more than she’ll ever be. Richie was smart in not taking it- because others would label him as a thief if they saw him with it. Like Little Adam needs the card, he is set for life for being a Chandler, everything will be at his disposal when he needs it. I think it would be wise to sell the card and put away the money for Jenny’s college fund or in a trust for Jenny for when she turns 21- now that’s using the money wisely.

ALL MY CHILDREN: Zach tells J.R. to sell Greenlee the story that Zach never destroyed Ryan and Greenlee’s frozen embryos, but rather stole them. Aidan questions the parents of a boy who drowned while on a scout trip with Richie. The parents explain how wonderful Richie was to them after the accident. Aidan learns that another boy came forward and claimed the death wasn’t an accident, but they dismissed him. Joe reveals that fluid has built up in Spike’s ears, and if it becomes permanent a cochlear implant will never be an option. Ava shows up for her photo shoot sporting a Mohawk and begins pulling her diva act. Babe and Amanda know what Ava is up to and threaten her. Ryan reminds Richie that he’s made sure no one in town will hire him. Ryan tells Richie he can either work for him or have no job at all. Adam and Krystal can’t keep their hands off each other, as their anger soon turns to passion.

SNEAK PEEK: A party turns into tragedy.

What an interesting twist in the Spike storyline, now it appears that he cannot get those cochlear implants after all. That has so much future storyline potential for any actor, deaf or not, to portray such a character on a long running soap opera. Ryan and lovable brother-in-law Richie will be co-workers, I wonder what the employee benefits will be. Ava reverts back to her diva-like attitude and then the Fusion girls will sigh and not fire her- when there are many other options for a spokes model. Aidan finds out the truth about Richie’s role in a boy scout’s drowning death, it wasn’t accidental as first thought- so I guess we have a real psycho on our hands ladies and gentlemen. The sneak peek for next week is so cryptic, what party and what tragedy could occur?- Hopefully TPTB will not kill off more characters, death is going out of style on AMC.

Although it is not completely out of character for Ryan to confront Richie with a gun, I was still surprised. The lead up to the shooting was so strange with Annie trying to reconcile with her brother, now only if she will fess up to everyone about her involvement. And I have to add, Ryan is super rich and he doesn’t try and hire someone make Richie disappear- if I were him, I wouldn’t want to get my hands dirty. Anyways Richie is shady and I’m sure some of his prison chums were not fond of him and want him dead. One other thing puzzled me, why, in the preview for Monday’s episode, did Ryan state that Richie was going down for his sister’s murder- you dummy, you pulled the trigger so it would be manslaughter with her blood on your hands.

Adam advising his son on his business and personal life was nice with both of them acting so much like father and son. And how Adam was proud that his son found a backer for his new venture, you could see that he was honestly proud. And if I were you, JR, I would stick to not mixing business with pleasure, because that little tramp, Ava, will just bring down all that hard work you put into your venture.

So it looks as if Kendall is taking her revenge plan to a whole new level, I wonder if Kendall plans to ambush Greenlee in the park. Or is she trying to take this fake friendship to a whole new level, any way you look at it, she isn’t getting nervous. When Zach walked in on Kendall, I was just waiting for him to start calling the men in the white suits to take her away, because wow that would be creepy to walk into. Then Greenlee drops everything to work on her friendship with Kendall- I guess Aidan is not that much of a priority after all.

Kendall has gone from bad to worse, telling Spike of her revenge plans- now that seems a little crazy. It can be argued that she is entitled to this level of insanity due to recent circumstances but you’ve got to have a grip on the situation. Now that would be a great storyline, a character having a nervous breakdown- I’m game for that storyline. What will make the revenge plot even more interesting is that Zach walked in on Kendall in her dream mode- how embarrassing!

And Greenlee this whole idea of forgiveness from Ryan and the others is a figment of your imagination- they will never forgive you. They may publicly tell you that they forgive you, but will they mean it- hell no, they hate your guts. And given the current situation with Richie, there are bigger fish to fry and Ryan would not want to waste his resources on a person like you. I am so excited that Greenlee has taken up another career as a PI- not, I couldn’t care less what she is, it won’t make me like her more.

Richie is such a smooth criminal, I can believe that he is that evil- now they have to find out the root of this evil. It may go back to when he was a boy scout and his friend drowned under mysterious circumstances. And if I were Annie, I would keep an open mind that maybe Aidan and Ryan were trying to kill my own brother, some part of her has to love her brother- irregardless of what he did in the past.

And how disgusting seeing JR and Ava going at it in the bushes- plus the fact that they were in public, anyone could have seen them. Have these writers have any decency, I mean children sometimes watch this show and anyways JR just got out of boinking Amanda. I guess Ava is just used to that raw sex, since she was a hooker and all but come on let’s write smart sexual scenes for the future.

I really think that Kendall is finally losing it after today’s episode, she is pushing the revenge plot to a new high. One could argue that she is entitled to lose her sanity due to what Greenlee has done to her and her family and I slightly agree. But I believe anyone who lives for hatred or revenge is really losing part of themselves and I don’t want that to happen to Kendall. I am quite afraid that this revenge plot could end her up in jail and will blow up in her face like her other schemes. All I know is that Kendall should do her best to protect her family but revenge is not the answer, because it only brings on more hurt.

Each and every day it is becoming more apparent that Jonathan truly loves Lily, not Ava-when will that fool realize that. It is apparent that Lily still has feelings for Jonathan, since she was saddened when she found out about the proposal and engagement. Attention writers, put Jonathan back with Lily- their reunion is written in the stars, it’s inevitable.

What makes a good guy in Pine Valley, we are supposed to believe that Ryan and Aidan are good guys but their actions speak volumes. Ryan and Aidan went way too far to make a point to Richie and to make him confess. Ryan has a past of being a violent goon, and yet he is so loved on the canvas. Another thing that bothered me about these two is that the dumb Pine Valley P.D. left them in the interrogation room together, that is not police procedure- they could get their stories together, and that’s wrong.
