ALL MY CHILDREN: Ryan and Aidan grab Richie and take him to the pump house. Richie plays it cool and claims Annie is the crazy one. Aidan makes Richie sweat when he puts a noose around his neck. As the police storm the room, Richie kicks the chair out from under him and makes it look as though Ryan and Aidan were about to execute him. Ritchie takes everyone by surprise when he clears Ryan and Aidan, claiming they didn’t try to hurt him. While alone with Ryan, Ritchie lets his truly evil self show, as he throws down the gauntlet. Zach confesses to Kendall that Hannah wanted to make a baby with him, but he refused. J.R. admits to Amanda that he’s working with Zach to get Greenlee out of Fusion. Kendall continues to plant fake, psychotic journal entries on Greenlee’s computer. Jack sincerely wishes Jonathan well and hopes he’ll be happy with Ava. Ava feels guilty for almost sleeping with J.R. and gives Jonathan the chance to call off the wedding. Ava claims she’s not good enough for Jonathan, but he insists that isn’t the case at all.

SNEAK PEEK: Ryan scares Richie.

So Richie is a smart one, he’s one that can turn the tables in a heartbeat- I think I’ll like his character. I’d love to see someone oppose Aidan and Ryan and take them down, they think they are so much better when they’re not. But with truly evil characters there is no redemption, but he seems really sweet when he is with his niece, Emma and Little A.

I wonder how the ever cool Jonathan will react to Ava almost sleeping with JR- he will just unload on Adam Jr. Ava having a guilty conscience is giving her a more human exterior, a character that has a chance to survive well into the new year.

Ritchie has all of Pine Valley looking for him, it’s not like he is wanted for murder or escaped from jail. He is very innocent until proven guilty because I bet my bottom dollar that Ritchie isn’t all to blame for Annie’s problems. The possibility for that is very grim now but I still hold hope that Annie is exposed as the crazy lady she is. Then someone (Greenlee) put two and two together and realized that Wes and Ritchie were one in the same- surprising an intelligent observation came from the Spider Woman, Greenlee. Ritchie seems so harmless but this whole monster stuff with Emma is very creepy; he must be bad to the bone or else he would have came forward with his true identity. This storyline seems endless but there is always gold at the end of the rainbow-there will be a great payoff.

I was so confused with Zach and Hannah today, did they sleep together or didn’t they; she seemed to dwell on their romantic past a lot. Zach seemed very clear that he would never sleep with her again, Kendall makes him whole. Hannah is trying to weasel her way back into his heart conspiring with Adam and I think in the future, Greenlee. They can be the badass sisters kicking ass and taking names; a real gruesome twosome in Pine Valley.

Kendall got to feed her baby, Ian today- now that was the true highlight. Nothing makes me happier than a mother that can mother their child, I feel sympathy for the mothers of preemies. They are the strongest women, waiting and waiting while their children are fighting for their lives, that’s tough. AMC has accurately presented that motherly struggle well and I applaud them for that.

What a horrible, despicable thing Zach and JR are going to pull with Greenlee, making her think she can have Ryan’s child. For one thing, if it was true he wouldn’t give you the permission at all, he hates her with all of his might. Then it is just a cruel joke they are pulling on that poor woman, who has absolutely nothing in her life, I feel sorry for her actually. Zach is smart and he blackmailed JR to be involved in this, instead of one of his henchmen.

Erica’s talk with Kendall about addiction was so spot on today, he classified her obsession with revenge as an addiction. In the case of Kendall, revenge is an addiction of all of the years she had to fight to get ahead, revenge is her only driving force. What a liar too, Erica should have known that Kendall doesn’t give up that easily, she has an ace up her sleeve. And I have to say if you want your family protected Kendall, you would focus more on Annie/Ryan instead of Greenlee because Ritchie is a more immediate threat than her.

The potential for Krystal and Hannah to be good friends seems to have been written in the stars; they are so alike. They were once with very powerful men and then they were cast off. They are strong women with a strong sense for something but can’t help but be drawn to their exes. It’s kind of like the friendship between Erica and Opal, you didn’t expect it but it happened anyways.

What interesting scenes today with Adam and the teens, he should be their benefactor and push them to be great. That would add another job title to Adam, music producer- he could expand his business ventures. Adam and Colby are coming together and she’s beginning to forgive him for his wrong doing. I also liked towards the end when Adam told Stuart that he could see his niece and Krystal, and then they embraced; Adam could never hate his brother no matter what.

Wes, I mean Ritchie is really a smooth charmer, isn’t he? He is so evil, finding a way to get closer to his niece and I am surprised that Annie hasn’t recognized him. Babe has to be one of the dumbest people when she told the guard to take a hike, what are you Emma’s parents- you don’t have the authority to do that. What if Ritchie was not Wes and he subdued both of you and he takes Emma, great thinking Babe!

Jonathan proposed to Ava, doesn’t it seem way too early for Jon boy to be thinking about marriage. I guess Ava has this spell on him and other men she had serviced- but Jon was really never over Lily. Ava is his silver medal for not getting back together with Lily and I hate that. He hurt Lily so much when she found out that he proposed to Ava, he needs to stop being a creep. I really do not like his character that much anymore, I am sick of him.

Why would Krystal ban Stuart and Adam from seeing Colby at her house, regardless of what they did- Colby is almost an adult woman and can make her own decisions. It really bothered me that two people who aren’t her parents are dictating whether or not Adam should see her every day. If Colby cannot forgive her father, well then she needs to mature then or else she may never have a good relationship with Adam.

Tad and Hannah are developing a nice relationship since she came back to town, I wonder how far that could go?

Kendall is a smooth woman playing Greenlee and the others, with her own revenge plot. That is so old Kendall, I thought we had a more mature, maternal woman before us and not that sleek charmer plotting against everyone, I guess we’ll that’s just the person she is and she can’t change it.

ALL MY CHILDREN: Zach agrees to fund J.R.’s business venture on the condition that J.R. gets Greenlee to sign away her shares. J.R. make Greenlee believe that some of the embryos from the clinic survived the blackout and that there’s a chance she could have Ryan’s baby after all. Babe continues to bond with Wes and has no idea he’s really Ritchie. Jonathan overwhelms Ava when he suddenly proposes to her. Erica tells Kendall she has to stop her. Krystal and Hannah start to form a friendship. Hannah later seeks out Zach and admits she lied to him. Ian continues to make strides, and Kendall is allowed to feed him for the first time. Hannah tells Zach she suffered a breakdown after they parted ways the last time. Kendall arrives to see Hannah in Zach’s arms. Hannah and Josh make love. “Wes” tell Babe he wishes he had a better relationship with his sister. Babe is unaware that “Wes” is really Annie’s ne’er-do-well brother, Ritchie. Annie comes face to face with “Wes.” Krystal is affected by Adam’s heartfelt apology.

SNEAK PEEK: Aidan and Ryan face jail time.

J.R. and Zach have gotten even lower, lying to Greenlee in that way- I know they want her out of town but that is just cruel. Hannah is going to befriend Erica, now that is a more powerful duo than when she pairs up with Adam. Jonathan proposes to Ava, Zzz- I will be sleeping through those scenes. “Wes” dominates the week, that could get very interesting.

I really loved Adam and Colby’s scenes today, they were the best all year- you can basically see Adam’s vulnerable side. David Canary knocked it out of the park, he is such a good actor and it shows. Adam has always loved his kids but he seems to always push them away so it seems as if he doesn’t love them- but he loves them with all of his heart. Colby has come a far way too; she has evolved into a character that is finally likable and loved in Pine Valley and by the viewers. Now these scenes are great examples of father-daughter bonding- not Colby bonding with Tad, who in no form is her father.

Greenlee and Aiden are a formidable duo; they were very cute today, with her posing as a criminal’s widow. She sure channeled the kind of woman that she truly is and that must have been fun as an actor. Jack busted them at the end though, I really thought they could get away with it- but Jack’s investigative mind kicked in.

I was very creeped out by Annie today- using a knife to slit Ritchie’s throat instead of a gun. I can understand with all the kids in their home, why they wouldn’t want to possess a gun but she seemed very deadly with a knife. She seemed like she knew how to handle a knife well; I wouldn’t want to get her angry, Ryan, if I were you. She is really turning out to be a crazy woman, gradually but surely that crazy woman will come to the surface.

Krystal has got it bad for Adam and she can’t even admit it, she wants him back. Stop these games you are playing with Tad and tell Adam how you really feel. There is still room for forgiveness; God knows almost everyone has forgiven you for your indiscretions in the past. Just give him a chance, Adam really has a loving nature about him under that tough business-centered attitude.

The band kids and whatnot was not interesting- they bored me so much that I had no interest to watch their scenes. I like that Sean has a passion to invest in this group but otherwise, I am not interested at all.

ALL MY CHILDREN: Annie tells Ryan and Derek that the John Doe in the morgue isn’t her brother Richie. Derek reveals that the dead man had been in prison with Richie. Tad admits to Joe that he’s not passionately in love with Krystal. Adam and Krystal can barely hide the attraction they feel for each other. Kendall keeps up the ruse of wanting to be friends with Greenlee. Erica insists on helping Kendall get her revenge on Greenlee. Ava tries to convince Jonathan to invest in J.R.’s proposed business venture. J.R. can’t keep his eyes off Ava. Hannah covers when Zach finds her snooping in his office. Josh remains suspicious of Hannah, but he later arrives at her room to make love. Krystal admits to Tad that she still has feelings for Adam, but she vows she won’t be pulled back to that cage on their date. Ava and J.R. flirt with each other, but he’s able to resist getting physical with her. J.R. comes up with a plan to get Ava released from her contract with Fusion. J.R. steams when Jonathan refuses to fund his new venture.

SNEAK PEEK: Anne comes face-to-face with Ritchie.

At first I thought Ritchie was dead, but it is looking like he is very much alive and in the form of bartender Wes. They might go the predicted route and make him the evil one- which will automatically tune me out. And what is Hannah up to; I cannot nail down her angle at all- maybe she has decided to take try and take Cambias Enterprises up from under him, now that would make a great storyline.

So that person outside Ryan’s door today was supposed to be Ritchie but then again there is strong evidence that Annie is her own stalker. At least if Ritchie does come in the picture, it would make for some interesting scenes with Ryan or brother in law, Jonathan. It would be completely out of the box to have her stalking herself over guilt of her past crimes. She feels she needs to shelve the blame and responsibility onto another person, so in doing that she is completely devoid of fault and content with that. They need to do a sharp turn on this storyline or else it is doomed.

What was with Jonathan playfully referring to himself as a killer? His existence on this show is so faulty-he is a cold blooded killer and shouldn’t just make a joke out of it. How could those fine journalists be writing lies about him- the truth is written in stone, he is a killer. I will never forget that he killed off one of the most intelligent and loved character in Pine Valley’s history, Edmund Grey. I know that he had a brain tumor and really can’t be at fault, but he still has to have this rage inside of him that brings him to the brink of fatal violence. It is really difficult for me to ever have sympathy for Jonathan’s character and I think I never really will.

So Di came back for a special meeting to address Greenlee and Ava concerns. Thankfully, they are going to drop Ava and her antics, my only question is how come it took so long? This whole Pretty Woman storyline with Ava is getting old fast. They are so leaning in the direction of a Who’s the Daddy storyline with JR and Jon- just speed it up TPTB, I’m already getting disinterested.

I am mildly enjoying this new Hannah storyline- there are so many possibilities with her. She has a secret agenda and it will be fun in the coming months to find out what that is. Is she planning to ruin Zach’s marriage, his company, or maybe she will completely rid herself of anything Zach and start a new, fun life with someone else? Just don’t let that someone be Josh, she needs more than that junior boy scout, give her someone like Adam or bring back David Hayward- just imagine David and Hannah wrecking up Pine Valley, an unstoppable duo.

ALL MY CHILDREN: Kendall goes to Greenlee claiming she needs to try to find a way to get past the all-consuming hatred she feels for her. Greenlee and Kendall agree to work together at Fusion. Zach is surprised to find Hannah waiting for him. Zach agrees to rehire her at Cambias. Annie is horrified when Ryan tells her that Ritchie was released from prison a month ago. Wes saves Babe from a robber at the Comeback. Annie describes Ritchie to Ryan, and the similarities between him and the robber are uncanny. Ryan and Annie decide they must move back to the penthouse until the threat of Ritchie is dealt with. They ask Kendall and Zach to look after Emma. Tad and Julia bond over Kathy. Jonathan admits to Ava that he never wants kids because he wouldn’t want to saddle them with the stigma of having a “crazy” father. Aidan shows Ryan evidence that Annie sent the locket to herself. Kendall watches as Erica interviews Jason, the young deaf boy who leads a perfectly normal life with his cochlear implants.

SNEAK PEEK: Kendall tricks Greenlee.

An action packed week ahead for AMC, but I think that the robber is just a red herring- I think Ritchie is dead. I heard that there were plans to hook up Babe and Ritchie and now they’re trying to pair her up with Wes, maybe just maybe he’s Ritchie. I am getting vibes that Hannah is not pregnant, if she was why would he rehire her?

Aidan sure got banged up pretty badly today, didn’t he; I wonder who would do such a thing. It would be easier to say that Annie did it due to her sudden craziness factor but I just don’t think she is capable of that behavior. If she was then we would have noticed it sooner- its part of who she is. It could be a bloke that Aidan pissed off or maybe even Ritchie or who you know as Wes, because he was eyeing that locket pretty well, as of late.

So Adam got the mansion back, Zach was more than gracious to return it to Adam. He was giving him it as saying,”Hey you don’t have anything else to live for, so have your precious mansion,” the sure fire ending of this storyline, I think.

Where on earth is Ryan getting the money to hire these PIs and guards- he sure doesn’t have that disposable income anymore. It’s either that they are scripting him like he still owns Cambias or he’s hiring pee-wee pros that do not do their job well. If there was one thing they could fix on a soap, it would have to be the income part- make it more real.

Someone please save us from the Ava mess we are currently seeing- she is a character that would not have seen longer than a 13 month contract. I am finally realizing that she doesn’t need to be in Pine Valley anymore- there is absolutely nothing about her that directly appeals to me, maybe only the sexiness factor but other than that nothing. TPTB please cut the character, give Leven Rambin a break of playing dual roles. Throwing JR into the storyline just makes it all that worse, he should be off trying to gain back his company or something else.

Stacy Haiduk, the soon-to-be returned Hannah, was interviewed by Soap Opera Digest and provided some interesting insights. For example she tells of a budding friendship between her and Krystal and that she doesn’t even really know if her character is impregnated by the last night she shared with Zach. I like that it seems like they are building up some great Kendall/Hannah scenes, they can really run with the material that is coming up for them- Stacy is such a strong actress. ALL MY CHILDREN: Kendall thinks a miracle has happened when she believes Spike reacted to a loud noise and can hear again. Zach summons Dr. Norton, who determines Spike suffered an allergic reaction and saves his life when he stops breathing. J.R. tries to convince Adam to join his new business venture centering on Ava. Adam dismisses J.R.’s idea and berates him, as he says J.R. will never amount to anything. Greenlee and Aidan set out on a mission to discover the story behind the locket she found, unaware that it belongs to Annie. Tad and the others at the Comeback are sobered on the anniversary of 9-11. Ryan asks Aidan to watch out for Annie while he goes to pay her brother a visit in prison. Aidan inadvertently hurts Zach. Ryan learns that Ritchie was released from prison months ago and questions Dr. Hadley, the prison psychologist. Dr. Hadley is clearly on Ritchie’s side and casts doubt on Ryan’s belief that Annie is being terrorized by her brother, whom he claims is really the victim here.

What an interesting week ahead, I especially like that they are commemorating 9/11- it must never be forgotten. Other than that, the whole twist with Ritchie is sating my interest to continue following that storyline- looks like it’s a doozy.

So Annie confessed that she killed her mother but of course it was that she drove her to suicide. I am accepting this theory and I think her, not brother Ritchie, pushed her father out of the window. I think it would be a good storyline for Melissa Claire Egan to be the crazy one who lied on the witness stand to put away her brother. It would be a huge surprise but then that means she won’t be long for Pine Valley, they usually send the crazies to Pine Haven or Oak Haven-whatever it’s called.

That Erica/Jack/Greenlee get together was enjoyable, you could see that Erica was dying inside having dinner with her Public Enemy No.1. What’s even better is that Erica recognizes Dr. Hilliard and will expose him as the fraud that he is.

Kendall has calmed and starting to relax now, but now she thinks Spike’s hearing is restored? The doctors say it was permanent, unless you believe in miracles which is what she needs most now. You will see when he cries when the lamp breaks, it is not because he can hear, it is because of an allergic reaction to the vitamins. Those Kane women will take down Dr.Hilliard and when they find out Greenlee had something to do with this, there’s gonna be sparks!

It seems each and every day that Adam impersonates Stuart that Adam is Jenny’s father. I have this weird feeling that it will turn out that way- it just seems right. It will also push Adam back with Krystal which is what I want, they were meant for each other. It was fun to see Adam and Stuart in each other’s clothing- a sort of joke.

Today’s show was cleverly construed and I applaud them for making today’s eppy great.

Just when I thought AMC would be curtailing the newbie influx, I was dead wrong- this time we get a three-in-one deal! For as long as I will watch this show, it will not change- the writing may seem more sharp but the overall make up of the show will be the same, filled to the gills with newbies. It’s fresh to see some younger people on AMC, especially ones with talent, so I’ll give it time for myself to get adjusted to this.

The whole Graidan (Greenlee and Aidan) relationship lacks something and that would be buildup- it’s like they just meshed them together. They don’t have much of a history together to be built up to a great couple- why even bother with trying to get Greens with him; here’s an idea recast Scott or bring Leo back from the dead. Then Aidan can join Di in NYC and everyone will live happily ever after, I hope.

Kendall finally sees the light in this whole situation, which is good that means some upward movement in this story. She has hope and is in a relaxed manner, I really hope she can keep this composure when Hannah comes blowing back into town- now that will produce some fireworks!

No impressive movement in the Annie/Ryan storyline but from what I know it will be a fast roller coaster trip soon with many of her past secrets revealed. That should bring the intrigue back to this show that, at the moment, lacks it.

Per Soap Opera Digest, there is a rumor that All My Children is planning on marrying an unlikely duo ala Adam and Krystal. Let the guessing begin- it could be Ava and JR, Josh and Julia, Hannah and Adam, or even Tad and Krystal.

Who knows maybe even Myrtle will hook up with an eligible bachelor in Pine Valley. With this show you never know what to expect!

But let’s get down to business, it seems more likely that they will pair JR up with Ava and it will, perhaps, be a publicity stunt. It would be something to jump start her celebrity status- married to one of the richest young men in the world. Let’s explore other possibilities, how about Adam and Hannah- they will unite to get Chandler Enterprises back from Zach, now that’s a dynamic duo!
