General Hospital Weekly Preview- Sept.10-14

Sunday, September 9th, 2007

From Lynda Hirsch-

GENERAL HOSPITAL
: Sonny sends Carly and the boys to the island for safety. Jerry suggests that Sam seduce Trevor to get information on Zacchara and use it to get revenge on Jason. Lucky arrives at Sam’s penthouse to find her soaking in the Jacuzzi in a bikini. Alexis moves into Wyndemere with Molly and Kristina. Maxie tries to win back Coop, but he can clearly see she’s still obsessed with Logan. Sam calls Jason, lying that she needs his help to get him to come to the penthouse. Once Jason arrives, Sam merely shows him the Jacuzzi where she plans on seducing Lucky. Jason lets Sam know he isn’t affected by her attempts at manipulation. Tracy beats Edward at his own game and is released. Lucky is frustrated over Elizabeth’s reluctance to be intimate with him. Robin walks out on Patrick, ending their relationship. Jason offers Robin solace. Logan and Scott have their blood drawn for the DNA test. Kate has had enough of being in the middle of Trevor and Sonny’s war and breaks things off with Sonny. A furious Sonny demands that Jason kill Trevor.

SNEAK PEEK: Jason and Sonny fight.

Wow, this week alone could be submitted to the blue ribbon panel at the Daytime Emmys, it just looks fantastic. Alexis finally taking her place at Wyndemere, Tracy getting released, Robin finally leaving Patrick, etc.- I wonder why GH isn’t the number one soap, it’s miles ahead of The Young and the Restless.

GH: Fri. 9/7- Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead

Friday, September 7th, 2007

What was the whole point of killing off the nanny, Leticia- I guess it was kind of a warning shot to Sonny. This may kick off many deaths, all I know of right now is that she won’t be the last to die- expect more. Maybe Carly, Sonny and the kids would really care but anyone else on the canvas wouldn’t- Trevor made it sound like it was his plan, oh the great Trevor plans to kill off the nanny. Just go ahead and shoot Sonny or whoever, just not the nanny, please.

Georgie is really prying into Jason, for once Spinelli doesn’t give us his feed on Stonecold- she’s just gushing about him. She sincerely wants the best for Spinelli and treats him differently than others- a nice romance can be brewing here.

The possibility of Alexis and Trevor is nice to think about, because now Alexis can be in a relationship. It would just kill Ric for her to be in a relationship with his father and Sonny would bar her from seeing Kristina. I don’t see him staying much longer so that can just be thrown out the window.

Why no Sam and Liz fight today, it would have perfect for today. Sam is a woman on a mission and that is one thing I like about her, she is loyal to her intentions. Liz, on the other hand, makes hasty decisions and spirals out of control. I love that Sam is going to show Jason the jacuzzi that she plans to seduce Lucky in, rubbing it in his face.

Today’s show was pleasant-a perfect balance of drama, relationships, and family, I liked it.

Lucky accuses Elizabeth of settling for him because she can’t have Jason. Georgie grows more attracted to an oblivious Spinelli and is crestfallen when he makes it clear he wants to be with Lulu. Nikolas is dismayed when Alfred cancels his lease at the Metro. Emily tries to warn Lucky that Sam is using him to get even with Elizabeth and Jason. Logan faces Sonny’s wrath after failing to guard Michael and Morgan as ordered. Ric returns home to find Trevor with Molly. Trevor warns Ric he either brings down Sonny and Jason or he will lose custody of Molly. Ric suggests that Alexis take custody of Molly. Maxie confides to Georgie that she slept with Logan. GH: Wed. 8/29- Come On, Carly

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

Jax has been tortured relentlessly for awhile and all you have to do is be angry with him for doing something to save his life? It’s something that he isn’t proud of and you of all people should know how that feels. When things happen like this in her relationships, she can’t help but focus on herself instead of consoling her husband. When she was talking with Jason, it would have been nice if she focused on his troubles that keep piling up.

Trevor’s relationship with Kate is more reminiscent of today’s relationships but it just seems weird. He will be the next new crime boss of Port Charles and I can’t wait until he either gets killed off or leaves town, it is nice that Ric gets more family in town but Sonny is all the family that I want now. His father was a bad man and men like that do not stick around for a while, they end up dead, but you never know what could happen?

The secret agreement between Maxie and Logan is killing me because it needs to be revealed. It’s just a setup for them to get so close and then they’ll be together when it’s revealed and the dust settles. After she is privy to the secret agreement, LuLu should kick him to the curb- but this is LuLu we’re talking about now.

Those were the only parts to note for today, the Nikolas stuff was bland at best. Here’s to a better show tomorrow!

General Hospital Preview: Week of 8/27-8/31

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

From Lynda Hirsch-

Sonny faces off with Trevor, accusing him of coming to Port Charles to help mob boss Anthony Zacchara take over the town. Trevor denies Sonny’s accusations, claiming he’s merely in town to help his girlfriend, Kate. Ric and Trevor come face to face. Jason confronts Sam for hiring the men to terrorize Elizabeth. Sam refuses to show remorse. Sam is shattered when Jason threatens to kill her if she ever acts against Elizabeth. Amelia tries to push Jason toward Elizabeth and warns him he could very well end up alone. Jax is disillusioned by his brother and tries to give Carly the assurances she seeks. Nikolas invokes the Cassadine name and threatens to destroy Russell’s career and reputation when he hears him reprimanding Emily at the hospital. Logan puts the brakes on making love with Lulu after spotting Maxie hiding in the closet. Maxie blackmails Logan into having sex with her after accusing him of having real feelings for Lulu. Sonny is dangerously close to spinning out of control after seeing Kate kiss Trevor, and he takes his anger out on Jason.

SNEAK PEEK: Emily questions Nikolas’ outbursts.

GH: Fri. 8/24- Trevor Forever

Saturday, August 25th, 2007

It is very interesting how they are integrating Trevor Lansing into the show, not only was he Ric’s father but also Kate’s boyfriend. How very interesting how they connect Kate in another way to Sonny, I guess it really is a small world. He does seem a little too old for her but hey there have been great age difference couples. It looks like Sonny and Trevor will be “business” rivals- I am looking forward but please oh please do not make Trevor so evil that it will spawn another stupid whodunit murder mystery.

This Irina mess needs to end now, it is torture to be subjected to that storyline, with that fake accent and the relentless torturing of Jax. And it was fun seeing Carly just tear Irina up for what she is, I would have loved to see them get down and fight-none of this hostage business. Please GH writers I implore you to find other possibilities for Jerry/Carly/Jax instead of this international intrigue crap - come on be creative.

Sam is very pathetic and lame but I applaud her for trying to get revenge. I don’t particularly like the way that she goes about it but it was needed. Now Lucky will be her bodyguard- and trust me he didn’t have to think too hard about it. He is so tempted now to carry on a sexual relationship with her, maybe Sam will fall in love with Lucky. It would just kill Liz to see them two happy together as a couple.

Mission: Eli Love is completed and I couldn’t be any happier- what a lame storyline to put Finola Hughes in and dual roles are getting tiring. There have been too many dual roles on daytime and many that are not related but look identical, I guess that is just one staple of soap operas that will just not go away. Another exit for Anna but hey I’m still holding out hope that next time she comes back it will be with Robert and there will be some real good action in store.

I enjoyed this episode other than the Irina mess and the Eli Love stuff it was a tolerable show. With stories wrapping up, the newer storylines seem to jump out at me, it will be must see tv for the fall.

General Hospital Fall Preview

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

Sorry didn’t watch GH today, I was busy with setting up something on my computer- It drove me crazy. So I found the Fall Previews per Soap Opera Digest- Enjoy!

Carjax/Jerry:
“Jax wants his brother gone. Carly does, too, but Jerry saved Jason’s neck by getting him cleared of muder charges, which means, they owe him.”

Scrubs: “After the pregnancy question arises, Patrick dives back into his commitment phobia, which is what Robin saw coming.”

JaSam/Lucky/Liz: “Liz and Lucky come to a place where it’s difficult for them to be together and their struggle is:Do they stay together for the children or is it more honest and fair to separate? If they separate what does that mean for Jason and Liz?Meanwhile Sam is working her own wiles.”

Nem: “Nikolas will have temper issues. Let’s just say that Emily and Nicholas’s love is going to be tested from within this time, and it’s going to be quite a test.”

Skate/Ric/Alexis/Skye: “The presence of Trevor Lansing will blow the mob threat to Sonny and Jason wide open. What Kate brings to PC isn’t just her past with Sonny. She also brings a load of trouble, which will come in and all hell will break loose. The murder also profoundly affects Alexis, and Skye is going to find herself in need of an ally.”

Spin/Georgie: “The question here is when or if Spin will realize that what he’s looking for is, in fact, in his own backyard.”

The Q’s: “Alan is Tracy’s conscience, but that doesn’t mean Alan isn’t missing his family, particularly on his and Monica’s anniversary.”

Luke/Tracy/Scott: “By the time Luke returns this fall, we will have found out the truth of Logan’s paternity. Luke’s return is not going to be linked to this story. It’s also going to thrust him into the mob war.”

Lulu/Logan/ Coop/Maxie: ” Lulu will find out about the bet between Logan and Maxie just as Logan is developing true feelings for Lulu.”

General Hospital Weekly Preview: Aug. 20-24

Sunday, August 19th, 2007

From Lynda Hirsch-

General Hospital:
Elizabeth is accosted by two thugs when she’s in the park with her sons. Sam miraculously comes to Elizabeth’s rescue and sends the goons fleeing. Jason is crushed when a shaky Elizabeth asks him to stay away from her and Jake because of the inherent danger that surrounds him. Jason and Spinelli track down the thugs who attacked Elizabeth. Jason beats the truth out of the goons Sam hired and learns what she did. Lulu and Logan make love for the first time. Carly manages to find Jax and hopes to free him, but Irina is one step ahead of them as she holds them both hostage and threatens to kill them in front of Jerry. As Noah takes the stage as “Eli,” the real Eli plans on doing the singing while hidden backstage — but his microphone goes out, and Noah is left stranded in front of the crowd. Lucky questions Sam’s motives for wanting to hire him as her bodyguard, but he later accepts the job. Nikolas surprises himself with an outburst of rage.

SNEAK PEEK: Jason threatens to kill Sam.

GH: Fri. 8/17- R-E-S-P-E-C-T

Friday, August 17th, 2007

Picture_121.jpg

I am really in love with the Sonny/Kate pairing but Sonny has no respect to give to Kate. He was rude and overbearing, it was completely ridiculous- he has no respect for her line of work. Oh and that comes from a person that is a professional criminal- come on- it sure beats killing someone like someone we know. And then he said that he needed to teach her a lesson, hey she may not be very mature but she’s an adult woman that takes responsibility for her actions.

GH Actor Out

Thursday, August 16th, 2007

According to SID, Kiko Ellsworth is leaving GH of his own accord. I wonder if they will recast the role once again- too bad because I thought he really fit in with the GH cast-one with limited minority actors.

GH- 8/15- All Tied Up

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

Picture_099.jpg

Oh please let Irina die, as much as I like an intriguing storyline, this has got to end fast. Carly is gonna bitch slap the hell out of that Russian tramp- oh I can picture it now. She’s sick, I mean she is a rapist- she is messing with Jax so badly. The writers must be trying to torture us because I sure am with this awful storyline. That Russian witch better watch out when she steps in Port Charles, she’s in for a surprise ala Carly.
