ONE LIFE TO LIVE: As fate would have it, Todd and Blair, Marcie, and Viki occupy motel rooms on the same floor of the Bon-Suites, but they have no idea how close they are to each other. An unknowing Marcie almost opens her door to Todd. Todd posts a flyer with Marcie’s photo stating that she’s wanted. Alex is flabbergasted when Nigel reveals certain details of Asa’s will. Natalie and Jared’s first real kiss leads to a second, after both are honest about their feelings. Jared and Natalie look forward to taking things slow as they pursue a relationship. Jessica isn’t happy when she learns that Natalie plans on pursuing a relationship with Jared. A morose Michael struggles to make it through Thanksgiving at Rex and Adriana’s with Layla, Vincent, Roxy and Miles. Bo and R.J. make peace as they visit with Lindsay.

I have to say that I am sick and tired of Anthony Zacchara, he is just too crazy for television.  This storyline is ridiculously violent and out of control- there is no reality factor in this storyline at all.  GH is notorious for doing these three week, violence-laced storylines in which no positivity is the solution.  I know that this is a desperate ploy to increase ratings and stir the pot by killing off characters- it is reaching the point of ridiculousness.  GH and other soaps should take a break from these high violent, traumatic events and focus on positive storylines with good endings- there’s enough gloom and doom in this world.

So it appears that Nikolas has accidentally killed his fiancee, Emily, but then again maybe Anthony did her in.  Nikolas experiences blackouts so who knows, maybe he didn’t kill her afterall.  I think that it would be great if Nikolas was the guilty party and that he had to pay for his crimes like real killers- injecting some reality in these stories would help! 

Sonny had to donate blood to one of his greatest enemies, Ric and I applaud him for putting differences aside to aid his brother.  Although he doesn’t like Ric, he would do absolutely anything for his family no matter what it cost. 

I wonder what is going on with Jerry, the show would be so dull without the intrigue of Jerry Jacks.  Jerry brings so much to the table and maybe he’ll be the one to be sick and defenseless for a change.  I am just praying that the virus has not returned to Port Charles- a rehashing of that awful storyline would be a travesty.

I am proud of Babe for not fully giving in to Richie- just when I thought she was a somewhat naive, indecisive girl, she surprises me.  I must admit that I hated the fact that Alexa Havins left, I am glad that they got a very competent, young actress to fill in the role.  It is tough to come in and take over a role that has been established for a few years and this actress, Amanda Baker is truly making Babe her own.  The storyline potential for Babe is very high and I am sure that this recast will be passed up when the writers meet to come up with new storylines- she will be front and center.

And on to bad boy, Richie, for one I am glad that this person is coming forward- that means one less psycho in Pine Valley.  I doubt the Pine Valley justice system will put him in jail and from what I hear, he will spend a lot of time with Janet "From Another Planet" Green in the looney bin.  Now those will be must-see scenes, I am a huge fan of Janet Green and maybe we’ll see Mr. Smooth (Richie) meet his match in craziness.

Tad is overreacting to the fact that Adam wants a second chance with Krystal- let her make that decision, don’t hold the issue of custody over her head.  I know Adam deserves this treatment but Tad has got to understand that Krystal still has a strong affection for Adam and let them be happy.  I will truly hate Tad if he goes as far as to sue for custody and maybe if the revelation of Kathy being Kate will come out, he will be less of an overall jerk.

I would like to take this opportunity to say goodbye to all the loyal readers and commenters of ABC Soaps Watch. Due to personal reasons I am stepping down as a writer of ABC Soaps Watch. I hope whomever takes over would take care of this blog as well I have.

I haven’t had a chance to watch any of my soaps this week. My in-laws from New York are here for a visit. My dear MIL watches Days of Our Lives and that’s in another channel. I can’t very well go to our bedroom and watch my shows there. That would be rude. SoapNet is definitely off limits too since we all watch out primetime shows at night. So I’ve been watching DAYS with her. Anyhoooo, I promise to share with you my very opinionated recap for our favorite soaps in regular time next week. I might be able to do the Friday’s episodes, woohoo.

Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund

April 16, 2007, will be remembered as one of the darkest days in the history of the Virginia Tech community and the world beyond.

To remember and honor the victims of those tragic events, the university has established the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund to aid in the healing process and generate financial support.

I don’t understand why Kendall is feigning happiness over Ryan and Annie getting married. Why is she worried about her and Spike? She’s not going to be Ryan’s center of attention anymore so she’ll hate anyone Ryan spends his life with. Her excuse is stupid. She’s having another child with Zach. You don’t see Ryan whining that she’s going to neglect him and Spike. She just can’t stand it that Ryan can be happy with someone else which is asinine since he was very much happy with Greenlee. Speaking of, Ryan recieved a phone call after Ethan’s mom, Hannah left. Except the caller didn’t say anything. Then it showed a butterfly brooch. Greenlee is coming back I think. will it be Rebecca Budig or another actress. I want Rebecca to reprise her role but if it’s a different one it’s ok too. I just want the character back even though it means trouble for Ryan and Annie.

Back to Hannah, she went to visit Ryan to ask question about Zach. Is he just like Alex. Ryan tried to defend him. His father’s sins shouldn’t be reflected on Zach. Ryan is a little suspicious why she’s back. Now that Alex is captured she feels safe to be back in town. I like Hannah. She’ll be a great match to Kendall. *wicked*

Of course the day wouldn’t be complete without the Chandler and Martin’s war. Tad’s house is gone. Jamie has declared war on Adam. Tad told him it’s his problem so calm down but Jamie is not backing down. It’s not just Tad’s memories that dissipated from the fire, it’s his too. Tad frantically searched for Kate’s bonnett that Dixie gave her. Miraculously, it was saved from the fire.

Adam on the other hand is celebrating. Amanda thretened to turn him into the police but Adam told her Janet will be arrested for attempted murder. He somehow managed to come up with a believable story that PVPD will surely eat up since they’re all so incompetent there anyway. Amanda demanded to see her mother. Derek showed up wondering what Adam was doing at Wildwind. Amanda covered for him and evne though Drek is suspicious of Adam’s visit, he told him to focus on his own problems. Adam took Amanda to see Janet, blindfolded. Janet is comfortable hiding at the Chandler’s mantion attic. Amanda told ehr mother to go back to the institution but Janet refused. She’s happy where she is. Especially when Adam promised her a private island. He told Janet Amanda will be working with them to bring Tand and Jamie down. Janet didn’t liek the idea. She doesn’t want her daughter involded in any illegal actions. Adam assured her it’s not the case. SAtisfied, Janet left Amanda and Adam alone. The latter told her to just give her information about Tad and Jamie and he’ll make sure Janet is happy for the rest of her life. If not, he’ll make sure she ends up in a maximum security prison for his murder. If she doens’t help him out, she’ll find out how evil Adam Chandler really is.

Meanwhile, Babe asked for divorce from JR again. JR thinks she’s doing this because Josh has moved in at the mansion. Babe assures him otherwise. JR has made every effort to give her space. He has changed so that should count. Babe has many reasons why she wants divorce and Josh isn’t one of them. She doesn’t want to fight with him anymore. They would share custody for Little A. Then Tad and Jamie barged in demanding to know where Adam is. Josh arrived telling them he’s not with Krystal. Tad told everyone Adam burned his house. Krystal was eavesdropping while Tad spouted his anger towards Adam. Krystal angrily told them that Adam was provoked by all of them. Tad thinks she’s lost her mind. She told him to leave Adam alone or he will never see his daughter. Tad and Jamie left.

Since they can’t get Krystal to leave the mansion, they’ll just take Adam out of the mansion. They saw Adam leave a secret door, then hit his head with a flower pot. Oh how clever. Bad idea Tad. You just made him angier than he already is. He has an ally so the war just went up another notch.

I wrote about the pre-nomination list but completely forgot to write about the nominations once after the announcement. Maybe because I felt ABC was once again shut out from everything? Oh Pox…haha. If you want to know who got nominated, visit my CBS counterpart ’s blog. Her soaps pretty much took all the nominations.

ALL MY CHILDREN
More and more people find out that Babe is really alive. Now, everyone wants to know what info JR used to blackmail Babe. Josh convinces Krystal that as long as she keeps the baby secret from Adam, JR will always have something to hold over Babe. Krystal makes the gut-wrenching decision to finally tell Adam. When she makes her confession, all hell breaks loose at the Chandler Mansion!

As Llanview’s couples head to the Winter Carnival, a big snow storm hits and forces everyone to spend the night together! Once they’re snowed in, things really heat up. Blair and Cristian are tired of Todd and Evangeline cheating on them and decide to do something about it - they get their own sweet revenge! And, with Tate now modeling for Adriana’s underwear line, does Rex have some new competition?

GENERAL HOSPITAL
While researching Jason online to learn everything he can about his mentor “Stone Cold,” Spinelli comes across some shocking info - the paternity test results! Lulu is with Spinelli when he uncovers it and is stunned to learn that Jason rather than Lucky is the father of Liz’s baby. She confronts Jason with the secret and he tries to convince her to keep quiet. And, the evil Mr. Craig is back and has his sights set on Nikolas!

Well, as I expected, Babe is already asking questions. Krystal hasn’t showed up to visit her. She knows her Mama will never leave her side. JR actually approved Josh tending over her?. Does JR even care if she lives?. Where’s Little A?. Josh can’t answer her questions because he’s just going to lie even more and I think at this point he’s pretty much burried himself. His actions sounds familiar though. He is exactly like his mother who not surprisingly enough is having a hard time controlling herself because Jeff is hiding Josh’s whereabouts from her. She even went as far as using the fact that they made love to make Jeff tell the truth. HAH!. So typical of her. She was so frustrated when she left but then she ran into JR who in turn informed her Josh is not missing…hahaha. Dang, Ms. Kane can’t account for her kids anymore. Does she know where Kendall is and what she’s up to lately?

Mr. and Mrs. Slater are in Vegas blackmailing everyone in their way of finding out the truth about the Cambias matriarch. I don’t know which accent Kendall was trying to disguise but she was pretty funny though. Not funny good, but funny idiotic. Then there’s her husband who can’t decide wether to use a Texas accent or her British one. OI!. Anyhooo, macho Zach actually thought he can dig his father’s grave with his bare hands. Kendall on the toehr hand tried to be his own shrink. In the end, the casket was full of rocks. Whaaatt??. I suspected this. Why else would Ryan get notes that says how he’s disappointed him?. Hmmmmm

I love Bianca. She really got into JR’s face. Good for her. JR left Zoe to die in the cemetery because he is such a cynical jerk. All the bonding he and Bianca just went through after Babe’s “burial” just went out of the window. Derek does not believe Zoe’s story. He think it’s just random. No wonder they can’t solve any crime in Pine Valley. They have uncooperative Zach, and everyone is running around like they’re private investigators. Thank goodness for Jack. He pulled his rank this time. He wants the DNA on the spit from Zoe’s face. Bianca on the other hand retraced Zoe’s last hours at the cemetery. She found a brooch that carries the Cambias logo.

So either it’s Alex, or Michael is alive.
