I have to give credit to Ron Carlivati for cleverly scripting a custody battle, using elements of the real world to make it work. Now only if they upped Todd’s maturity level, it would make for a very good storyline, I’m sort of tired of seeing immature, selfish Todd complain in public. He has every right to, he was deceived, but he should have really handled it like an adult.
Marty is just absolutely the most bland character on soaps, she is always grateful every day of getting out of the slammer. Yeah, we get it Marty, you could have spent your entire life behind bars, but as a psychiatrist, shouldn’t you get past it soon. If you all would notice, now, that Marty is slowly taking Evangeline’s place in Llanview, sans a few things- trust me Ron, make her her own woman, not Vangie 2.0.
What was with Michael saying to Todd about Tommy’s former foster parents- how the hell would he have known that, you didn’t even know the truth at the time. You cannot attack a guy for something that he would have no knowledge of. I just love that Rex is going to dig up some dirt on Todd, which means the rape and other crimes will come to light but does that make him an unfit parent? I would say no, he is great with his own kids; so I think he will win custody.
Jared is no longer a man of mystery, he shares a past with Tessica but isn’t he awfully cute when he has scenes with Natalie. If they were put together more, not in a romantic light, more like a bickering business rival sense then I would love to watch them every day. Jared also plays well off of Nash- its nice for a change to see Nash is scenes without Jessica- it integrates his character more.
oltl, one life to live, todd, michael, jared, tessica, marty, evangeline, nash, ron carlivati
