GENERAL HOSPITAL
: Sonny witnesses Zacchara’s insanity firsthand when Zacchara threatens to kill everyone Sonny loves and then calmly turns the conversation back to gardening. After returning to Port Charles, Sonny tells Jason that Zacchara is certifiably insane and that Trevor is the one who’s really calling the shots. Logan surprises Lulu when he ends things with her. Kate admits to Sonny she knows he’s bipolar and is completely accepting of his condition. Lucky and Sam are reunited and make love. Jerry tells Sam he’ll kill Lucky if she doesn’t seduce Trevor. Lucky and Elizabeth abruptly put a halt to the divorce and child custody proceedings. Sonny tells Kate he needs to fly to Puerto Rico immediately. Jason cautions Spinelli about fathering Robin’s baby and then not being a part of the child’s life. Spinelli freezes up when it’s time for him to make his contribution and calls in Jason to substitute. Robin understands why Jason can’t be the father of her child.

SNEAK PEEK: The Black and White Ball turns gray.

From Lynda Hirsch-

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jax explains his theory that Nikolas might have killed Leticia to Carly. Carly later arrives and pushes Nikolas toward a violent episode when she questions whether or not he could have murdered Leticia. Nick tells Emily that he’s going to have Patrick run every test possible to find out what’s wrong with him before he hurts someone he loves. Trevor hears Zacchara raging at his son and cautions Johnny not to disobey his father or innocent people will die. Elizabeth seems optimistic about the future, as Emily helps her move into her new house. Alexis and Diane are like two barracudas when they go to battle over Lucky and Elizabeth’s divorce. Patrick realizes Robin is going to ask Jax to be the father of her child and calls on Carly to nip those plans in the bud. Lucky and Elizabeth drift further apart when they fight over the children. Robin and Patrick continue to argue about her wanting to have a baby sooner rather than later. Robin sees Lucky as her next potential donor.

SNEAK PEEK: Logan tells Lulu goodbye.

Robin is really desperate to have a child and Jax would have been the perfect candidate , his genes are golden. Then when Carly coerces Jax to draw out, she sees Lucky as her next potential donor- very interesting being that this would be his first biological child. Why not ask someone like Ned, I wish he was still on full time- he was a really fun character. Diane and Alexis will do battle in divorce court- now that is must-see tv. The theory that Nikolas killed Leticia is gaining steam and it looks quite plausible; but then again Johnny is as good a suspect as anyone. I see so much potential for Tyler Christopher (Nikolas) and he could nab his fourth Daytime Emmy nomination and first win- he deserves it for his nice, long career in the soap operas.

From Lynda Hirsch-

ONE LIFE TO LIVE
: A panicked Marcie hides with Tommy when Todd and his hired goons arrive at Ron’s and ransack the place. Todd finds no trace of either Marcie or Tommy, but he remains suspicious, as he warns Ron that he’ll be keeping an eye on him. Britney overhears Starr telling Cole that Langston’s parents have been dead for over a year and she plans to use it to her advantage before leaving for boarding school. Langston is taken into protective services. Jared maintains he owns the majority interest in the vineyard. Miles tries to come to Roxy’s defense when she’s badgered by some reporters, but he only ends up getting himself in hot water. Roxy suggests she and Miles do their community service together. Nora wonders if Dorian is coaching Lindsay when she learns Lindsay came out of her catatonia after a visit from Dorian. Bo assures Lindsay that he is on her side.

SNEAK PEEK
: Blair takes in another child.

I don’t think this will be the last we see of Britney in Llanview- she will come back from her travels more mature and ready to get Cole back from Starr. Portia Reiners, who portrays Britney, will not have this be her last soap opera gig- she has been on AMC and OLTL and I’m sure some other soap will scoop her up to add more to her resume. Then I see Miles forms a nice friendship with Roxy, at least I hope its a friendship because she’ll milk him for his money like she did to Max. Todd comes so close to finding his son, when he is so near- now that is just cruel, let the man have his son already. Lindsay is playing everyone in this murder confession, the real reason has yet to surface and I feel that it is a big one. I think Spencer did something personally damaging to Lindsay that would compel her to brutally murder him. And Blair adopts Langston- now Starr and Langston are sisters and she will be an honorary Cramer girl, she certainly acts like one.

AMC_LOGO.jpg

From Lynda Hirsch-

ALL MY CHILDREN
: Zach tells J.R. to sell Greenlee the story that Zach never destroyed Ryan and Greenlee’s frozen embryos, but rather stole them. Aidan questions the parents of a boy who drowned while on a scout trip with Richie. The parents explain how wonderful Richie was to them after the accident. Aidan learns that another boy came forward and claimed the death wasn’t an accident, but they dismissed him. Joe reveals that fluid has built up in Spike’s ears, and if it becomes permanent a cochlear implant will never be an option. Ava shows up for her photo shoot sporting a Mohawk and begins pulling her diva act. Babe and Amanda know what Ava is up to and threaten her. Ryan reminds Richie that he’s made sure no one in town will hire him. Ryan tells Richie he can either work for him or have no job at all. Adam and Krystal can’t keep their hands off each other, as their anger soon turns to passion.

SNEAK PEEK
: A party turns into tragedy.

What an interesting twist in the Spike storyline, now it appears that he cannot get those cochlear implants after all. That has so much future storyline potential for any actor, deaf or not, to portray such a character on a long running soap opera. Ryan and lovable brother-in-law Richie will be co-workers, I wonder what the employee benefits will be. Ava reverts back to her diva-like attitude and then the Fusion girls will sigh and not fire her- when there are many other options for a spokes model. Aidan finds out the truth about Richie’s role in a boy scout’s drowning death, it wasn’t accidental as first thought- so I guess we have a real psycho on our hands ladies and gentlemen. The sneak peek for next week is so cryptic, what party and what tragedy could occur?- Hopefully TPTB will not kill off more characters, death is going out of style on AMC.

GeneralHospital.jpg

From Lynda Hirsch-

GENERAL HOSPITAL
: Nikolas finds himself in an alley holding a bloody knife, as Jerry is brought into the emergency room suffering from a stab wound. Jerry lies to Mac and claims a stranger attacked him in the alley. Jerry confirms Emily’s fears when he tells her that Nikolas was the person who stabbed him — and he later reveals the same to Jax. Nikolas goes into denial when Emily tells him about Jerry’s claim. Lucky threatens to file for sole custody of Jake unless Elizabeth gives in to his demands. Scott tells Lulu he will give up guardianship of Laura if she makes up with Logan. Lulu takes the offer. Robin realizes she wants a baby, even if it means being a single mother. Robin makes a list of possible fathers. Jason traps Johnny. Carly is upset when she learns Jax may help Kate start a new magazine. An unseen figure snaps a photo of Jax and Carly in an intimate moment. Coop tells Maxie she is going to end up alone and lonely.

SNEAK PEEK
: Sonny meets his enemy.

So Nikolas is going to have a flagship storyline with his mysterious black outs and stabbing Jerry, this storyline is turning out to be scary. I wonder if he was the person who killed Leticia but why would he be near her to begin with, anyways it would be a quick out for this exciting, new storyline. The Dark Prince is finally to show his colors after years of being behind the innocent Nikolas- they should totally play the storyline this way, not a split personality but when he sleeps he does these things in his sleep that he can’t control. I’ve heard of this in current events with certain sleeping drugs that compel people to sleepwalk and possibly drive, it’s a scary reality and I would love to see it be played on-screen.

Scott really is a great father, even if he doesn’t show it too much on the surface- willing to give up Laura, the woman he never got over, for his son, Logan. I hope that Scott has a permanent base in Port Charles because it would be a shame to have him leave after a triumphant, exciting tenure in 2007. Now only if GH can find a way to get back Genie Francis to finally clear up this storyline of Laura’s custody, now that Luke is coming back.

One_Life_to_Live_Logo.jpg

From Lynda Hirsch-

ONE LIFE TO LIVE: Todd, fearing he might lose his son to Michael and Marcie, suggests they all consider a shared custody agreement — but Marcie won’t even entertain the idea. Marcie remains angry at Michael for lying to her about how long he had known the truth about Tommy. Michael and Marcie’s world is shattered when the judge awards Todd custody of Tommy. Todd arrives to take Tommy, only to discover that Marcie has fled with the baby. Marcie arrives at her brother Ron’s house. Ron tries to persuade Marcie to return Tommy, but she only rails she can never go back to Michael, that she can never forgive Michael. Langston is blown away when Markko tells her that he loves her. Dorian informs Langston she knows her parents are dead. Dorian wants to take in Langston. Clint and Nora grow closer. Jared continues to antagonize Natalie. Sarah is thrilled by the coup she pulled off in getting the big name act to perform at Capricorn.

SNEAK PEEK
: Marcie starts a new life.

How on earth can that wacky judge give custody to Todd, granted he is Tommy’s father- his past should have been the nail in the coffin for him. In the real world, judges would never give custody to such a dangerous person, irregardless of if he is a great father. But I do not applaud Marcie’s efforts to keep Tommy, kidnapping is so overdone in this genre but I think OLTL can tell a compelling story. The fact that she will never forgive Michael adds a another interesting part to the storyline, she won’t even trust her soulmate. They have better not drag this storyline out until next summer because that is the length of normal kidnapping storylines in soaps and I tend to lose interest, fast!

The truth about Langston finally comes to the surface-her parents are dead and she’s been living on her own for awhile. She is very brave for doing this all alone, forging signatures and whatnot, basically taking care of herself- what a dependable girl. Trust me she’s better off on her own, without the influence of Dorian, she is just a disaster on two legs that is incapable of being a good mother. Dorian watch your back, it seems Nora and Clint are getting much closer- maybe she should have minded her own business and seen the closeness of those two. I can see them having an affair- he wouldn’t leave Dorian for Nora.

AMC_LOGO.jpg

From Lynda Hirsch-

ALL MY CHILDREN: Ryan and Aidan grab Richie and take him to the pump house. Richie plays it cool and claims Annie is the crazy one. Aidan makes Richie sweat when he puts a noose around his neck. As the police storm the room, Richie kicks the chair out from under him and makes it look as though Ryan and Aidan were about to execute him. Ritchie takes everyone by surprise when he clears Ryan and Aidan, claiming they didn’t try to hurt him. While alone with Ryan, Ritchie lets his truly evil self show, as he throws down the gauntlet. Zach confesses to Kendall that Hannah wanted to make a baby with him, but he refused. J.R. admits to Amanda that he’s working with Zach to get Greenlee out of Fusion. Kendall continues to plant fake, psychotic journal entries on Greenlee’s computer. Jack sincerely wishes Jonathan well and hopes he’ll be happy with Ava. Ava feels guilty for almost sleeping with J.R. and gives Jonathan the chance to call off the wedding. Ava claims she’s not good enough for Jonathan, but he insists that isn’t the case at all.

SNEAK PEEK: Ryan scares Richie.

So Richie is a smart one, he’s one that can turn the tables in a heartbeat- I think I’ll like his character. I’d love to see someone oppose Aidan and Ryan and take them down, they think they are so much better when they’re not. But with truly evil characters there is no redemption, but he seems really sweet when he is with his niece, Emma and Little A.

I wonder how the ever cool Jonathan will react to Ava almost sleeping with JR- he will just unload on Adam Jr. Ava having a guilty conscience is giving her a more human exterior, a character that has a chance to survive well into the new year.

General Hospital Weekly Preview: Oct. 1-5

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

From Lynda Hirsch-

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Diane unloads on Trevor when he smugly tells Sonny that he had Kate fired from “Couture.” Diane clashes with Alexis over which one of them should handle Lucky and Elizabeth’s divorce. The tension between Lucky and Elizabeth increases as they argue about lawyers and reopen old wounds. Lulu refuses to forgive Logan. After realizing he lost a chunk of time, Nikolas admits to Emily that something is wrong with him. Robin is having a hard time getting over Patrick. DNA tests prove Scott and Logan are father and son. Carly admits to Jason that she doesn’t think Johnny killed Leticia, but she later warns Lulu to stay away from Johnny at all costs. Lulu tells Johnny she wants nothing to do with him, but her actions later belie her words. Her heart broken by Coop, Maxie appears at Logan’s door looking for revenge. Skye eavesdrops as Trevor orders Ric to find someone to pin Leticia’s murder on and leave Johnny’s name out of it.

SNEAK PEEK
: Nikolas turns violent.

This storyline with Nikolas is very fresh, I am very invested into what is happening to this Dark Prince. Trevor is really showing his true colors to everyone especially Kate and thankfully she now sees this side to him. Skye pops up this week, I was really beginning to think TPTB were going to slowly faze her out. Scott is Logan’s father, like there was any question- their mannerisms, voice and physical looks are very alike, what a great casting job Mark Teschner!

One Life to Live Weekly Preview: Oct. 1-5

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

From Lynda Hirsch-

ONE LIFE TO LIVE
: Blair backs up Todd’s claim that they married out of love but finds herself on the hot seat when Judy begins to question her. On the witness stand, Starr gives a heartfelt plea as to how great her parents are, but Judy is quick to point out the flaws in their family. Will runs into Addie when he goes to St. Ann’s to visit Lindsay, who remains unresponsive. Nora wonders if Lindsay could be faking her breakdown. Lindsay seems to recognize Bo when he and Nora visit her at St. Ann’s. Langston becomes defensive when Markko questions her about her absentee parents. Michael perjures himself on the witness stand when he testifies he didn’t know Tommy was Todd’s son until recently. Marcie learns that Michael knew about Tommy’s parentage for a very long time. John and Marty kiss and continue to grow closer. Dorian realizes Langston is living alone. Miles tells Natalie that she’s taught him what true friendship is all about.

SNEAK PEEK: Todd wins.

I love how the writers have written Miles and Natalie as a genuine friendship, instead of instantly putting them in bed together, a job well done. Will Marcie turn her husband in for perjury, I don’t think so but Marcie doesn’t do well with keeping secrets, so let’s wait and find out. Todd wins, now that was a curveball- I wonder what will be the deciding factor, maybe Todd bought off the whole court, who knows?

All My Children Weekly Preview: Oct. 1-5

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

From Lynda Hirsch-

ALL MY CHILDREN
: Zach agrees to fund J.R.’s business venture on the condition that J.R. gets Greenlee to sign away her shares. J.R. make Greenlee believe that some of the embryos from the clinic survived the blackout and that there’s a chance she could have Ryan’s baby after all. Babe continues to bond with Wes and has no idea he’s really Ritchie. Jonathan overwhelms Ava when he suddenly proposes to her. Erica tells Kendall she has to stop her. Krystal and Hannah start to form a friendship. Hannah later seeks out Zach and admits she lied to him. Ian continues to make strides, and Kendall is allowed to feed him for the first time. Hannah tells Zach she suffered a breakdown after they parted ways the last time. Kendall arrives to see Hannah in Zach’s arms. Hannah and Josh make love. “Wes” tell Babe he wishes he had a better relationship with his sister. Babe is unaware that “Wes” is really Annie’s ne’er-do-well brother, Ritchie. Annie comes face to face with “Wes.” Krystal is affected by Adam’s heartfelt apology.

SNEAK PEEK: Aidan and Ryan face jail time.

J.R. and Zach have gotten even lower, lying to Greenlee in that way- I know they want her out of town but that is just cruel. Hannah is going to befriend Erica, now that is a more powerful duo than when she pairs up with Adam. Jonathan proposes to Ava, Zzz- I will be sleeping through those scenes. “Wes” dominates the week, that could get very interesting.

General Hospital Weekly Preview: Sept. 24-28

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007

From Lynda Hirsch-

GENERAL HOSPITAL
: Trevor threatens Ric’s life when Ric get confirmation of his connections to Zacchara. Jerry makes it clear to Jax and Carly that they aren’t safe on Sonny’s island. Jax vows to protect his family, and he and Carly decide to return to Port Charles with the boys. Lulu chooses to move in with Jason and Spinelli, and later gets a message from Johnny. Jason confesses to Elizabeth that several people know the truth about him being Jake’s father and that Sam is one of them. Jason also tells Elizabeth all about Sam’s misdeeds and explains why she’ll keep their secret. Carly crosses the line when she forbids Jason to get involved with Elizabeth. Lucky and Elizabeth decide their marriage is over. Elizabeth plans to raise her sons as a single mother. Kate receives a sentence of community service to be carried out at the hospital. Jerry taunts Nikolas when he confronts him. Georgie asks Spinelli what he’ll do if Lulu never falls in love with him. Nikolas violently attacks Logan and later admits to Alfred that he’s been having blackouts.

SNEAK PEEK: Nikolas scares Emily.

Liz is making a very extreme decision to raise her children as a single mother, single motherhood is seldom showcased on soap operas, let alone General Hospital. Nikolas is getting these violent outbursts, could the dark prince be coming out to play? All this rage that has built up in the past years is finally being shown on the surface or maybe Nik is harboring a split personality. Kate has to serve her community service at General Hospital- that’s where all of them serve community service- why not a homeless shelter or cleaning up a park.

One Life to Live Weekly Preview: Sept. 24-28

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007

From Lynda Hirsch-

ONE LIFE TO LIVE
: Jessica is forced to confess to Nash about how she slept with Jared and then framed him as a thief and had him sent to prison. Jared warns Jessica that she’s going to pay for what she did to him. Jessica, Nash and Natalie try to explain to Jared that Tess, not Jessica, is the woman who set him up — but he isn’t buying it. Jared blackmails Jessica, warning he’ll turn her over to the police unless Natalie gives him an executive position at Buchanan Enterprises. Markko wonders why Langston’s parents are never around. John apologizes to Natalie, and they clear the air as they rekindle their friendship over a game of pool. Cristian is more affected by Sarah moving out than he anticipated. Adriana and Layla share a tearful goodbye when it’s time for Adriana to leave for Rex’s. Marcie is unnerved by Todd’s confidence. Miles is sincere in his desire for Marty to be happy, even if it is with John. Marty is clearly attracted to John. Clint invites Nora and Matthew to move into the mansion permanently. Talia backs herself into a corner when she agrees to introduce Antonio to George, her mythical boyfriend. To help Todd win the custody suit, Blair agrees to marry him — but her “I do” costs Todd a lot of money.

SNEAK PEEK: Marcie learns Michael’s secret.

What a nice nod to history for Natalie and John, when John came on the scene- he was undercover as a pool shark with the FBI. Talia sure got herself into a sticky situation with Antonio, hopefully she can come clean to him so they can finally be a couple. Todd and Blair marry for the 6th time or so- there better be a good payoff for this obvious plot device, they’re soulmates after all. Jared needs to forgive and forget, he’s looking better since leaving the clink, move on buddy.

From Lynda Hirsch-

ALL MY CHILDREN
: Annie tells Ryan and Derek that the John Doe in the morgue isn’t her brother Richie. Derek reveals that the dead man had been in prison with Richie. Tad admits to Joe that he’s not passionately in love with Krystal. Adam and Krystal can barely hide the attraction they feel for each other. Kendall keeps up the ruse of wanting to be friends with Greenlee. Erica insists on helping Kendall get her revenge on Greenlee. Ava tries to convince Jonathan to invest in J.R.’s proposed business venture. J.R. can’t keep his eyes off Ava. Hannah covers when Zach finds her snooping in his office. Josh remains suspicious of Hannah, but he later arrives at her room to make love. Krystal admits to Tad that she still has feelings for Adam, but she vows she won’t be pulled back to that cage on their date. Ava and J.R. flirt with each other, but he’s able to resist getting physical with her. J.R. comes up with a plan to get Ava released from her contract with Fusion. J.R. steams when Jonathan refuses to fund his new venture.

SNEAK PEEK: Anne comes face-to-face with Ritchie.

At first I thought Ritchie was dead, but it is looking like he is very much alive and in the form of bartender Wes. They might go the predicted route and make him the evil one- which will automatically tune me out. And what is Hannah up to; I cannot nail down her angle at all- maybe she has decided to take try and take Cambias Enterprises up from under him, now that would make a great storyline.

General Hospital Weekly Preview- Sept. 17-21

Sunday, September 16th, 2007

From Lynda Hirsch-

GENERAL HOSPITAL
: Kate is taken to the hospital, where it’s determined she has a high level of alcohol in her system — but she denies that she had a drink. Sonny is angry with Jason for questioning his orders and not killing Trevor. Lucky and Sam have no regrets after sleeping together. Emily encourages Jason to go after Elizabeth. Patrick bristles when he sees Robin with Jason. Maxie shatters Lulu’s happiness when she smugly tells her that she and Logan slept together. Trevor is unsettled to learn that Zacchara’s son Johnny is coming to Port Charles. Distraught after her break up with Logan, Lulu starts hitchhiking and is picked up by Johnny. Nikolas experiences another rage episode. Scott is sympathetic to Logan’s feelings over losing the one good thing in his life. Jason and Johnny end up in a potentially deadly standoff. Lulu explains to Jason that Johnny didn’t do anything to hurt her. Jax reunites with Carly and the boys on the island. Someone is watching Jax and Carly. Alexis finds herself on the receiving end of Nikolas’ rage.

SNEAK PEEK: Elizabeth and Lucky split up.

What a powerful week we have ahead, I especially like that Scott has sympathy for his son- their one good moment together. Nikolas is developing some sort of rage, I wonder what that is all about. Johnny Zacchara could prove to be a very pivotal character in the coming months, I wonder what he looks like. And finally Liz and Lucky break up- that was months in the making.

One Life to Live Weekly Preview: Sept. 17-21

Sunday, September 16th, 2007

From Lynda Hirsch-

ONE LIFE TO LIVE: Todd demands immediate custody of his son, but Judy shocks the courtroom with her claim that Todd is an unfit father who once tried to kill Tommy. Todd counters Judy’s charges when he explains how Margaret tortured him. Jessica can’t summon the courage to tell Nash the truth about her past with Jared. Jessica confesses to Natalie that Jared is blackmailing her. Nash confronts Jared after seeing Jessica’s photo on his cell phone. An emotional Talia tells Bo about her trip to New York City and the memories of 9-11 that she can’t escape. Will pleads with Nora to go easy on his mother and accuses her of being vindictive when she maintains that Lindsay needs to be punished for her crimes. Lindsay and Marcie bond. Sarah and Layla become roommates. Bo wants Matthew and Nora to move into Asa’s mansion. Rex blames himself for Marcie and Michael’s problems. Clint and Dorian’s romance flourishes.

SNEAK PEEK
: Miles wants Marty to be happy.

It’s nice for a change for Rex to feel guilty- another side of Rex’s character that is seldom seen. Nice to mention 9/11 especially after 6 years- may they all never be forgotten. And I don’t think the courts will go easy on a man that tried to kill his son, even if Margaret tortured him for months.
