GH- Tue. 8/14- Hopelessly Devoted
As much as I think Carly is wrong is some things she does, she certainly did not deserve to know from that spider woman that she slept with Jax. This is one of Carly’s better stable relationships and now this Irina woman could very well end it. But really the person to blame is Jerry because once again he screws with his brother’s life- he is such a leech and needs start being brotherly. I’m sure he loves his bro, but he sure has a strange way of showing it. That’s one thing I don’t want on Port Charles streets, a single Carly.
Once again Sonny and Kate shined today- the actress that plays Kate has such a good ability to go from acting snobby to being vulnerable in a snap. They are very fun to watch, they are a comedic duo, those two- I look forward to watching them everyday. I always enjoy their scenes for a change of pace in the show.
And good for Sam, she showed she wasn’t a snitch- she showed that although Jason betrayed her, she wouldn’t do the same. That is love there although they may be over she will still have some lingering feeling for him. I love the look on Ric’s face when he clearly expected her to rat out Jason but stood her ground against him and I applaud her.
And that was totally out of the blue for Robin to announce that she may be pregnant. I hope that she does get pregnant because it would provide for a very emotional storyline for GH. I would love for them to tell a story of an HIV positive woman pregnant- one of those storylines that never gets told on daytime. But then again that means Patrick’s condom failed and he might be HIV positive. This storyline has so many implications and I hope that it is told well.
Other than that, not a bad show- very steady in all aspects.
