Wednesday 8/1/07- All My Children
So it looks like they are trying to pair together Greenlee and Aidan, which judging by today’s show is very weak. Greenlee is a very demanding character that needs a man that can go toe to toe against her. This pairing doesn’t even make sense, they never showed any past chemistry and they just look like they were thrown together in a flash. I do not see a future for this couple.
That spitfire Ava, throwing Greenlee’s wrongdoing in his face, that was low. She is a very manipulative vixen and I for one am looking forward to the further development of her character. AMC does twin story lines very well, so I could see Ava sticking around for a while.
It was so touching how Kendall was talking to her baby, just looking at him in amazement. Alicia has really stepped to the plate and hit it long, she has delivered in almost every scene of this storyline. This is the meatiest material, I think, Alicia has ever had-the emotional levels she had to reach must have been draining.
Otherwise it was a good show today, not much to nitpick about.

I actually liked Ava today. I thought it was great when she mentioned Greenlee driving off a cliff while attempting to steal a baby. I realize it is a parent’s duty to protect his or her child. But to rag on everyone else’s mistakes while pretending your kid hasn’t done anything wrong…. “(T)hrowing Greenlee’s wrongdoing in his face” is the first thing that Ava has done that I was impressed by!
